What we do

The Lean & Green Skillnet initiative is an industry-led training network of over 400 of the country’s largest production and service sites. It is focused on providing subsidised, innovative training and compliance programmes to embed sustainable and certified staff skills across corporate members.

The Lean & Green Skillnet is funded by the National Training Fund (NTF) through the Department of Education and Skills (DES) and can provide grant aid and training supports to private sector or commercial semi-state enterprises.

Our aims

We aim to be able to offer our members:

  • Public training programmes in the areas of Lean Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, Sustainability, Management and Information Security
  • Customized, accredited in-house corporate programmes
  • Blended programmes that can be delivered via workshops or distance learning, i.e. online learning
  • Access to funding and grant aid for training and development programmes

Lean & Green Skillnet is co-funded by Skillnet Ireland and member companies to offer a range of training that addresses our members skills needs.
