    Programme overview

The Climate Action Plan requires every public body to have a climate mandate.  With many public bodies already leading by example in energy efficiency; green procurement is a way to further reduce their emissions and deliver on their UN Sustainable Development Goals. For business this significant change offers opportunity to offer sustainable products and services to the public sector and those operating under public procurement.

    Learning Outcomes:

    • Understand what green procurement is and how outcomes will be measured
    • Measurably reduce your environmental impacts using EU Green Public Procurement Guidelines and Technical explanations to update product and service offerings
    • Secure funding where available to help your organisation’s development
