Welcome to your Skillnet Ireland training programme. This Trainee Profile Form is used by Skillnet Ireland and Lean & Green Skillnet (the "Learning Network") to collect profile information relating to participants on training programmes partially or fully funded by Skillnet Ireland from the National Training Fund through the Department of Education and Skills (DES).

We ask you to complete this Form where you will share certain personal details. At the end of your Skillnet Ireland training programme you will be asked to complete a Reaction to Learning Form. The data you provide is invaluable to our continued efforts to provide a wide range of relevant and desirable training programmes, to communicate with you, and to enable us to operate effectively.

Skillnet Ireland and the Learning Network will comply with all applicable Data Protection Legislation in the processing of the information and personal data provided by you in this Form and the Reaction to Learning Form. Your data will be processed in line with the Skillnet Ireland Trainee Privacy Statement which you can access on the Skillnet Ireland website:

Your information will be shared with third parties in certain specific circumstances:

  • for the purposes of delivering Skillnet Ireland training programmes via the Learning Network
  • for the purposes of securely storing participant information with our IT services provider
  • for the purpose of conducting surveys to evaluate the quality and impact of the programmes delivered by the Learning Network. For such surveys, you may be contacted at some point in the future (no longer than 24 months following completion of your training with the Learning Network) either by telephone or email
  • for the purpose of providing DES with statistical information to help inform national policy in relation to skills. Only aggregated and statistical data will be reported to the DES.

Data Analytic Approaches to Enterprise Excellence

The  Lean & Green Skillnet, in collaboration with the University of Limerick and ICBE Advanced Productivity Skillnet is delighted host the Journey to Enterprise Excellence Conference 4.

Event Information: 

The JEEC 4 conference will introduce data analysis approaches to enterprise excellence in a multitude of service and industry related organisations from on the ground practitioners. In the modern world organisations tend to drown in the sea of data they create, unable or unwilling to turn that data into information to help drive excellence in enterprise performance.

This conference will present data analysis approaches, by leading organisations demonstrating how data can be used to visualise understand and improve performance. It will illustrate techniques that are simple and useful but avoid the complexities often associated with complex analysis approaches.

Research Symposium 

The afternoon session of this conference will focus on research and we are currently putting out the call abstracts. This symposium will present the latest research in approaches, methodologies and applications of Enterprise Excellence.

The Theme for JEEC4 Research Symposium is “Leading Ireland to Excellence”. This award is open to all individuals, organisations and educational Institutes that have contributed to research in Enterprise Excellence.The top 5 papers shortlisted will be forwarded Lean Business Ireland, Enterprise Excellence Awards 2019. The awards will be hosted by the IDA and the nomination will be in the category of Research Award for the Best Contribution to Lean/Operational Excellence Body of Work.
